D. Alan Kerr, II, MD, Ph.D., comes to Access Health Care directly from the hematology and medical oncology fellowship program at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. Prior to his three-year fellowship program at Moffitt Cancer Center, Dr. Kerr completed an internal medicine residency program at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as Chief Medical Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine. Following his completion, he also served as Assistant Professor of Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Kerr also holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Louisville.
