Dr Barakat is an oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Spring Hill and Wesley Chapel. Ayman Barakat, MD has a special interest in breast, colorectal and lung malignancies, he does evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of hematological and oncological diseases and takes pride in providing his patients with exceptional care, utilizing the most novel and evidence-based therapies in his practice. During medical school, he completed clinical externships in different fields of Medicine at several leading academic medical centers, including the University of Illinois Hospital and Northwestern University Memorial Hospital in Chicago, as well as Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University in Boston, MA.
