Foster Elementary, A Community School

Where Students SOAR with PRIDE! Located in historic Seminole Heights, Foster follows the Expeditionary Learning language arts curriculum providing comprehensive, standards-based literacy lessons engaging students through compelling, real-world issues, preparing them for college, career, and life. We follow the Ron Clark Academy House System: Blue House-Positivity, Red House-Respect, Yellow House-Innovation, Black House-Determination, and Green House-Excellence. Members meet weekly to build camaraderie and motivate each other to be their best. Foster received a Grade of C from the Florida Department of Education Florida Standards Assessment Test. At Foster, we strive to empower students to work together to create lifelong learners.
