Global Refuge Services Inc.

Global Refuge Services Inc. is a nonprofit agency providing educational and support services to students and their families. We are located in the Northeast region of Tampa, FL. The Global Refuge Academic Skills Program (GRASP) provides a free after school and summer program Monday to Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This program is for 3rd grade elementary students to high school students, especially geared to new refugees, resettled refugees, refugee claimants or asylum seekers and new immigrants. We provide enriched learning opportunities that complement school-day learning, utilize project-based learning, and explore new skills and knowledge. It is our conviction that academic success in education is the precursor to life success.
