I, like many here in Florida, am not a native! I am a transplant from the Windy City, also known as Chicago, Illinois! I came here to be able to see that beautiful yellow orb in the sky more days than not, and to avoid that fluffy white stuff on the ground that we see too often in the North! Chicago has been home for most of my life and career, after returning to school as an adult for my BSN and MSN with a Certification in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
