Michael Hwang, DO

Dr. Michael Hwang is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Bayfront Health Medical Group. A specialist in breast imaging, Dr. Hwang is able to use a variety of techniques to detect cancer and other conditions affecting the breasts. Dr. Hwang earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree from Michigan State University. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Nova Southeastern University in Miami and was co-chief resident. He then completed a breast imaging fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Hwang is certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology and is a member of several medical organizations.
