Coleman Middle School

South Tampa’s Coleman Middle School has earned an "A” grade for more than 20 years. Designated by the state as a School of Excellence, we are dedicated to helping students reach their academic potential while giving back to the community. Students are challenged through courses such as Advanced Math, Gaming and Simulation Computers and Robotics, where they can earn high school credit. Electives classes allow students to sample topics like Speech and Debate, and a top-ranked music program. Our ESE Program participates in Special Olympics every year while Coleman boasts the largest Best Buddies program of any middle school in the county. At Coleman, we believe in the four "C’s”: Caring, Capable, Contributing, and Connected.
